Dr. Thomas S. Rosenbaum, Ph.D

Founder and Owner of TheraSupport,LLC and Thomas S. Rosenbaum and Associates.

Dr. Rosenbaum founded TheraSupport in 1999 as well as our art studio space. Dr. Rosenbaum is available for Psychotherapy. Dr. Rosenbaum provides ongoing as well as one-time supervision for mental health professionals. Clinical supervision provides an opportunity to review your work with clients and your own personal and professional growth. Psychological and vocational evaluations are available.

Lora Rosenbaum

Chief Executive Officer

Lora Rosenbaum assumed the position of CEO of TheraSupport in 2020. Lora has held several titles at TheraSupport. Support for office administration, intake coordination, as well as marketing, and communication.
Lora has worked in and grown up in the mental health field, and the Traumatic Brain Injury recovery community. Her father, Dr. Thomas S. Rosenbaum, founded TheraSupport over 20 years ago.
An experienced, talented, and professional team has been in place at TheraSupport for decades, and Lora is passionate about leading with the current team. Our vision is to work and serve the community in new and impactful ways. “ The mental health of the community is why we are here.”
Lora has decades of experience operating small businesses, working with organizations in the community, and leading groups of people. Lora has decades of experience teaching yoga and meditation. She is also passionate about offering the benefits at TheraSupport today.

Geoff Byron, MSM

Program Director

Geoff joined TheraSupport, LLC in 2012 and has worked in the industry for over 20 years. His extensive knowledge of program and operational development guides overall business growth. This knowledge along with his educational background in Healthcare Management adds increased value to the executive team.

Keri Ellis, MA, LPC, NCC

Clinical Director

Keri Ellis is the Clinical Director at TheraSupport, LLC. Keri holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Eastern Michigan University. Keri is a fully Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Michigan. She has been a clinician for over 8 years, specializing in Traumatic Brain Injury, co-occurring disorders, anxiety disorders, and mood disorders. In her clinical work, she utilizes an eclectic approach with a primary focus on cognitive-behavioral and person-centered therapy. Ms. Ellis provides clinical supervision to Limited Licensed Professional Counselors in the state of Michigan. Keri supervises and provides supervision to the clinicians and clinical staff at TheraSupport, LLC.
As a clinician, Keri conducts individual psychotherapy for many of our participants at TheraSupport, as well as through her private practice within our community.

Dave Barnes ,M.A, L.B.S.W

Program Administrator

Dave’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Oversee the daily financial operation of TheraSupport. Function as a liaison between TheraSupport and rental property management teams to ensure an enjoyable living experience for our SIL participants. Supervision and leadership provided to the TheraSupport staff supervisor, ensuring open lines of communication and training for the direct care staff.

Christy has more than 20 years of experience in the field and is at the center of our program.

Jennifer Greca, M.A., C.C.C.-S.L.P

Speech and Language Pathology

Jennifer graduated with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti MI. She has worked in a variety of settings such as skilled nursing facilities, hospitals and providing supervision to graduate students. Jennifer has worked at TheraSupport for 5 years in which she has provided evaluation and treatment to the traumatic brain injury population. Her clinical interests include working with patients who have experienced Traumatic Brain Injury along with other neurological etiologies. Jennifer also facilitates the traumatic brain injury support groups, including community integration, health and wellness, cooking, social events, social skill building and community volunteer groups.

Valerie Calandrino, MSOT, OTRL

Occupational Therapist, Registered, Licensed

Valerie recently began working at Therasupport as our occupational therapist. Her primary experience is in geriatric populations and working with individuals who’ve experienced stroke, TBI, and have ASD. Valerie was drawn to the position here due to the meaningful experiences she’s had working with individuals with TBI, as well as the potential and importance of occupational therapy in this setting.

Cindy Spear, BS, SST

Lead Care Coordinator

Cindy has been working with individuals who have sustained traumatic brain and spinal cord injury since January 2015. She began her work in February 2016. She loves how personalized the treatment can be for each individual. Cindy’s favorite part in the position is seeing participants work hard, make progress, and meet their goals.

Ashlyn Miller, BS

Care Coordinator

Ashlyn works with participants in our program to help increase their level of independence by helping to foster their treatment plan. As a care coordinator, she is responsible for clinical coordination and implementation of participant-centered treatment planning for her assigned caseload. She works collectively with assigned professionals and clinical staff to ensure the implementation of the individual’s treatment plan. She also works collectively with external team members to assure continuity of care when necessary.
The role of Care Coordinators at TheraSupport involves working with individuals, who have sustained traumatic brain and spinal cord injury. Our care coordinators appreciate how personalized the treatment can be for each individual. Our favorite part about these positions is seeing our participants work hard, make progress, and meet their goals.

Alyssia Cook

Lead Direct Care Staff Supervisor

Alyssa is an integral part of the organization and leadership that directs our caring and competent Direct Care team members.

Liz Fiero, BAE

Art and Craft Program

Liz holds a Bachelor of Art Education with Teaching Certification in Art and Psychology.

The Art and Activities Program at Therasupport focuses on self-expression, cognitive learning, memory improvement, socialization, life-long learning, appreciation of nature, self-discovery, stress management, and relaxation. It includes the use of multiple media and tools. The Activities Consultant works closely with Therapists/Counselors to develop and maintain personalized programs for participants.
